Roasted Strawberries
 
 
An easy and quick recipe for roasted strawberries that can be eaten on their own or as toppings on desserts, pancakes, waffles, ice creams and cake

Ingredients
  • 450-500 gm strawberries, quartered
  • ¼ cup sugar (depending on how tart or sweet your strawberries are you might want to adjust the sugar)
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp white wine
  • few drops of champagne flavored oil (optional) or ¼ tsp orange blossom water
Instructions
  1. Place the strawberries in a glass baking dish. Make sure the dish is rimmed, else your syrup will run off and mess up the oven.
  2. Sprinkle the sugar and vanilla. Toss well.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 350ºF or 180ºC for 30-40 minutes.
  4. Add the white wine and champagne flavored oil/orange blossom water.
  5. Store in an airtight container or jar. Chill before use.
